- Junior (U7) Triathlon/Duathlon
- Junior (7-10yrs) Triathlon/Duathlon
- Junior (11-14) Triathlon/Duathlon
- All-Abilities Triathlon/Duathlon
About Junior Events
Capricorn school sports representative selection will be incorporated into the Aquathlon events, but otherwise, Saturday is a day of non-competitive racing, with a focus on participation and inclusiveness.
About All-abilities
This event is available to participants of all ages with a disability. Participants may register as “unassisted” or “assisted”, the latter meaning that there will be a responsible able-bodied adult (18yrs +) on course to remain with the participant throughout the event, including the swim and bike (on bike or foot) legs.
Unassisted athletes need not be accompanied but should have a supervising adult to provide general participant observation.

About the 10-Down Duathlon
Returning for its fourth year, this is a novelty event for ages 3-10. It is a timed event that involves running and cycling/scooting and includes for the very young and their nervous parents, an assisted event where a responsible adult may accompany the participant on course. For the kids, this event is about having fun, expending energy and feeling special. For the spectators, this event is about not taking life too seriously and remembering what it means to be young.
Event Costs
- Aquathon – $15
- Triathlon – $30
- All-abilities – $30
