Get back to being fit, strong and pain free

Get back to being fit, strong and pain free

As athletes we all know that the equal combination of fitness and skill is a key requirement in giving good continuous results. Being fit, healthy and injury free may seem like a given but regardless of your level of athleticism, it’s important to make regular appointments with your physiotherapist to maintain your physical health and prevent further damage to your body.

Physiotherapists focus on evaluating, restoring and maintaining physical function and mobility. As athletes we are always moving and pushing our limits. All this stress and exhaustion can take a toll on your health. Many athletes suffer from pain whether it’s from “wear and tear” or a sports related injury.

A good physiotherapist should offer athletic injury management, including acute care, treatment and rehabilitation and most importantly education to prevent further injury and pain.

Locally, Movement Improvement are Rockhampton and Yeppoon’s premier provider of physiotherapy for all Sport, Post-operative, Occupational, Musculoskeletal and Women’s Health related conditions. We at the YTF are also lucky to name them as one of our valued Major Sponsors.

Their philosophy, assessment, knowledge of human movement and intervention choices are what sets them apart from other allied health professionals. For this we are proud and thankful for their association.
