The YTF 2016 Festival Dinner – Saturday 6th August 6:15pm

The YTF 2016 Festival Dinner – Saturday 6th August 6:15pm

This year’s Yeppoon Triathlon Festival Carb Loading Dinner will be held in the stunning Ocean View Room upstairs at The Strand Hotel on the Yeppoon Foreshore.

A step up in the world from last year’s dinner the evening promises to be an entertaining affair where competitors and supporters alike can mingle, listen and be involved in discussions on Tri-Sport and also ‘fuel up’ pre-race on some of The Strand’s high-quality dishes, all created from local and seasonal produce.

Another change on last year’s dinner will see a panel of special guests fielding questions and discussing their histories, involvement, and passion for triathlons.

The panel will be made up by the following special guests:

Courtney Gilfillan – Female Professional athlete and YTF Race Ambassador
Ryan Waddington – Male Professional athlete and YTF Race Ambassador
Katie Kelly – Vision impaired elite Paratriathlon  – Rio bound!
Kate Doughty – Elite Paratriathlete – Rio bound!
Rachael Paxton – Professional Female Triathlete and last year’s YTF female winner
Glenn Skinner – Yeppoon Triathlon Festival Race Organiser
Trent Hill – Master Of Ceremonies across the evening/weekend.

Seats are still available so we encourage anyone attending the weekend to join us pre-race for this fantastic social event. The evening starts at 6:15pm Saturday night and tickets are $35 and include a choice of healthy carb giving goodness.

Bookings can be made now by emailing Belinda the Race Administrator and seats are also available for last minute walk-ins on the night!
